As an organisation, health and wellbeing is one of our key focuses - this includes our colleagues, customers, connections, friends and family. We are progressing through our wellbeing calendar and have a focus this month on activities to raise awareness for World Suicide Prevention Day and to join in with the World's Biggest Coffee Morning on 25th September in support of Macmillian Cancer.
Some of our colleagues are already involved in the #cyclearoundtheworld initiative which has been launched by the International Association for Suicide Prevention. The ambition is to encourage communities, organisations and individuals around the world to raise awareness of suicide and to fund essential resources to support Suicide Prevention activities. The event is live from today until 10th October 2020 and has the goal of 24,900 miles to be cycled. Anyone of any age and ability can join in and the miles can be cycled at home, in the gym, on local roads, as part of a race, whilst on holiday or anywhere else. It is totally free to join in and you can follow the success of the initiative using #cyclearoundtheglobe. If you would like to know more about how you can personally get involved, please follow the below link to visit the IASPs Charity Footprints page or our dedicated Codethink page For more information on suicide prevention and support, please see the following useful links:

The 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning' in support of those living with cancer, will take place on 25th September. Codethink has a personalised fundraising page. There are local events scheduled in your area or alternatively, you can set up your own event and let us know what you have been doing to support Macmillan Cancer Care.
