Technical Author
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Codethink, an established world-class provider of software engineering and consultancy services, as Technical Author on a full time, permanent basis.
Job role
Codethink is looking for a specialised technical author with an understanding of various industries including automotive, medical, finance, electronics & semiconductors, who can create high-quality, complex and compelling content.
As a skilled wordsmith you will typically be involved in developing technical documentation, how-to guides, technical blogs and articles, and other content that distils technical information with ease and clarity.
Requirements
- Honours Degree
- Proven experience as a technical author with experience in one or more of the mentioned sectors
- Ability to craft compelling and informative copy that leaves a lasting impression, adapt to the company's tone of voice
- Excellent communication and research skills, with the ability to understand and distil complex information clearly and concisely
- High level of attention to detail
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Willingness to utilise open source tools
- Knowledge of markup languages (HTML, XML, Markdown)
